Privacy & Data

Plain-language summary of how this app handles the sensitive information workers record about a person receiving support.

What we collect

  • Names and profile notes for participants your coordinator sets up.
  • Shift-report content you write (mood, mobility, communication, self-care, behaviour, handover).
  • Basic account info (name, email) for workers and coordinators.

Who can see it

  • Coordinators see all reports for their own family's participants.
  • Support workers only see the participants they're linked to, and only their own submitted reports.
  • Other families cannot see your reports. Data isolation is enforced at the database level (Row Level Security), not just hidden in the UI.
  • Reports may be reviewed by allied health or NDIS-related parties where the coordinator chooses to share them.

How it's stored

All information is stored in an encrypted, access-controlled database managed by Sunflower HQ. Every request is checked against your role and family membership before any data is returned.

Your responsibility

  • Record only what you directly observed during your shift.
  • Don't share your login.
  • Don't discuss participant information outside your support role.
  • AI (if enabled later) only drafts sentences from your answers — you are always responsible for reviewing and confirming before submitting.
